Our 3-day tour features guided visits to the traditional wineries in the Luján de Cuyo region, which is well-known for its centuries-old vineyards and world-class production of wines from Malbec and Cabernet grapes. Enjoy luxurious accommodations with an onsite spa and the ability to customize our tour with additional excursions to make the most of your time in this beautiful region!
Mendoza
Argentina's main wine region and heartland of the Malbec grape, Mendoza is also known for impressive mountains (including the world-renowned Aconcagua), and breathtaking landscapes.
Upon arrival, you will be taken to your hotel by a private transfer. Entre Cielos sits on 20 acres in the Mendoza countryside overlooking Malbec vines and the snowcapped Andes. The afternoon is free to relax and enjoy the grounds — perhaps even indulging in a treatment at the onsite spa. This evening you may dine at your leisure.
Entre Cielos HotelMendoza, Argentina
Tucked among the celebrated Malbec vines that have made Mendoza one of the world’s premier wine capitals, Entre Cielos Luxury Wine Hotel and Spa charms guests with its modern mix of solitude and sophistication.
Wineries of Luján de Cuyo
Today you begin a full Argentinian wine experience, and learn how it is produced, which grapes are grown in the region and why, and how the industry has developed here. And of course, you will have plenty of opportunities to taste local vintages!
After breakfast this morning, a driver will meet you at your hotel for a private transfer to the first of three wineries you will visit today. Most wineries operate seasonally, and are not open to the public year-around. The exact wineries you visit will be confirmed closer to your trip departure.
Lunch today is at a gourmet restaurant attached to one of the wineries, where you can relax and enjoy a delicious five-course meal and extraordinary wines — all with a scenic view of the Andes Mountains in the distance. This evening is free to enjoy at your leisure.
Optional Activities and Departure
Depending on the time of your departing flight, you have a few options this morning. Those wishing to rest and relax at the hotel — perhaps visiting the spa for the Hamam Classic Circuit — may do so.
You may elect to join one of today's optional activities, which can be reserved ahead of time or booked onsite (based on availability). For those eager to visit more vineyards, there is an excursion to learn about two different ways sparkling wine is made here, and of course taste a few local varietals (from $90 per person). Those looking to learn about a different aspect of the region's agriculture may opt to join an olive oil tour, learning about the process and tasting the oils (from $96 per person). Both half-day excursions last four hours and include transfers, snacks, and a private guide. To reserve ahead of time, please contact Boundless Journeys directly.
This afternoon you will be transferred to the airport in time for your flight to Buenos Aires. Upon arrival at the domestic airport, a private transfer will take you to the international airport for your flight home.
Please note that this is a typical itinerary, and actual activities may vary due to weather conditions, local events, and to allow serendipity to play a hand in your experience. Accommodations are as outlined in the itinerary, although we reserve the right to change these or the order visited should the need arise.

Located in western Argentina, Mendoza has long days of sunshine and semi-arid desert conditions. The region experiences four distinct seasons with no extremes in temperatures, which allows for a relatively uneventful annual growth cycle for grapevines and makes it an excellent destination to visit year-round.
